We do not play or sing so people can recognize us or to showcase our talents. We worship out of the abundance of our heart – our love for God who deserves nothing but the best.
As worship team members, it is important that one understands that this ministry is a privilege but also demands personal accountability on each of us. Personal and musical preparation is a must. After all, God deserves the best doesn’t He? We prepare the same way each and every Sunday – special occasion or not. In our service to God, let’s not give Him scraps.
